SCHEDULE A PLANNING CONSULTATION
Request a planning consultation
A working conversation about your situation, your family, and what you want to accomplish. No obligation to proceed.
What a consultation covers
A consultation is a working conversation. You share your situation: your family structure, your assets, and what you want to accomplish. An attorney listens, asks questions, and then explains what Texas law requires, where your current documents have gaps, and what your options are.
There is no obligation to proceed after the consultation. The goal is to give you a clear picture of where you stand.
THE CONVERSATION TYPICALLY COVERS
- Your current estate planning documents, if any exist
- Your family structure and any specific concerns (blended family, aging parent, business ownership, assets in Mexico)
- How your assets are currently titled and whether that creates any planning issues
- What happens under Texas law if nothing is in place
- The documents or plan the attorneys recommend for your situation
What to bring
You do not need to arrive with everything organized. Bringing what you have gives the attorney a starting point.

Any existing will, trust, advance directive, or power of attorney you already have
A deed or title document for any real property you own in Texas, or outside Texas if applicable
A rough list of your assets: financial accounts, real estate, retirement accounts, business interests
Basic family information: your spouse or partner, children, any dependents with special circumstances
If you have assets or family ties outside the United States, a brief description of what and where
If you are not sure what to gather, call the office before your appointment and someone can point you in the right direction.

Not a generic consultation. A structured conversation about your life, family, business, and future.
Rather than offering a generic consultation, we begin with a structured conversation about the client’s life, family, business, and future. The outcome is not a sales pitch. It’s a roadmap.
1. Build
Have you created the right foundation?
2. Protect
Are the people and assets you care about adequately protected?
3. Transition
Are you prepared for the major life and business changes that inevitably come?
4. Preserve
Does your current plan reflect your goals, your family, and your legacy?
Some clients may need immediate legal work. Others may only need reassurance. Many will discover opportunities to strengthen their long-term planning. That’s exactly how the relationship should begin.
