Deana Lee

Deana Lee brings more than 20 years of nursing and healthcare experience to Edison Legal, where she combines clinical expertise with legal insight to help clients navigate complex medical and legal matters.

As a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Deana has extensive experience in acute hospital care, case management, utilization management, discharge planning, rehabilitation, long-term care, home health, and care coordination. She spent many years working within one of Houston's largest hospital systems, collaborating with physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, insurers, and community providers to help patients receive coordinated, high-quality care.

As a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC), Deana bridges the gap between the healthcare and legal systems. She assists with medical record review and analysis, litigation support, guardianship matters, capacity evaluations, elder care planning, long-term care planning, and Medicare and Medicaid-related care coordination.

Deana has also completed Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training, applying process improvement principles to enhance efficiency, communication, and client service throughout the firm.

As Director of Operations, she oversees the firm's daily operations while leading Care Coordination Services at Edison Legal. Working alongside attorney Edwin Lee, she helps clients and their families navigate healthcare decisions that often accompany probate, guardianship, estate planning, and litigation matters.

Known for her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and ability to explain complex medical issues in understandable terms, Deana is committed to helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the legal process.
